Ruth Rodensky Gottlieb
August 23, 1932 - April 20, 2022
Ruth Rodensky Gottlieb, known affectionately as “Ruthie”, passed away quietly on April 20th. Originally from Rhode Island, she raised her family in Hollywood before moving to Weston, where she spent the remainder of her years. In addition to being an avid tennis player and a Masters Level Bridge Player, Ruthie was very active in both the Hollywood and Weston philanthropic communities. Everyone was a “sweetie” “honey” “dear” whether it was the person serving her coffee or her closest friend. No one could light up a room like Ruthie! She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Paul Rodensky, and is survived by their children Debra Rodensky (John Gonzalez) and Karen Rodensky Rassler (Scott Rassler) and grandchildren Brielle and Shelbie. She is also survived by her husband Richard Gottlieb and children Jill Horowitz (Andrew Horowitz) and Adam Gottlieb and grandchildren Erica, Brett, and Lauren. Graveside services will be at 2p on Sunday/Monday, April 24/25 at Temple Beth El Memorial Gardens, 4900 Griffin Rd, Davie under the direction of Levitt Weinstein/Beth David Chapel, Hollywood, Florida.
