Abner Turk's Obituary
Abner Isaac Turk, 90, of Weston, Florida, formerly of South Orange, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2016. Funeral is at 10:30 am Thursday May 5, Beth David Memorial Gardens Chapel / Levitt Weinstein 3201 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood, FL 33024. Abner was born in Newark, New Jersey on April 17, 1926. Abner attended Princeton, Texas A & M and graduated from Rutgers University. After working at New Jersey Electric Supply, he moved to Florida in 1973 and became owner of Chuck’s Backhoe Service of Pompano Beach. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Arleen Frankenberg Turk 4 children Richard (Dorothy), Douglas (Ceferina), Jonathan (Pamela ), Amanda (Don), 8 grandchildren and 11 great grand children.
