I met Adam around 1972 when both of our family's relocated from New York to South Jersey, knowing his immediate family for years and us having a long on/off decades long friendship. About 9 years ago he told me that he had a heart condition but I was under the impression that it was under control via diet, exercise and medicine.
Just learning of his passing, some 8 months after the fact and with his 8 months after my own fathers' passing, I'm in total and complete shock. Very upset.
The things we had done and experienced together, a novel can be written. But in the short form he will be missed by me as well as some of his oldest of true friends here back east.
May he rest in peace and may his wife, kids, brothers and sister all be well. I know that he loved and cared for them very much.
