Al worked in the best of world famous places. While living in New York in the 50's, Al worked for the famous jazz night club, Birdland.
Moving to Miami Beach, Al worked at The Embers, and later at Joe's Stone Crabs. He made lifelong friends at each place.
In the 1940s, Al served in the Army during WW2. he met Gertrude Dranow, who became his long time friend, along with her daughter, Daryle.
Al loved the races, and was known as "Longshot" to his many friends.
Al was family to Gert and her family, Richard and Daryle Prager , their children, Lance and wife Kathryn Robert, Garry and Steven and wife Roni Prager, and their grandchildren Ariella, Benjamin, Aaron, Gabrielle and Sara.
Al and Nancy Tipton spent many wonderful years together, loved living in their new home in Sunny Isles.
Al was a caring person, never missing a birthday, graduation, Bar Mitzvah, wedding or a Welcome Home, and hearing his voice on these occasions will be very much missed.
We all love Al, will miss his voice and big smiles, and know he lives forever in our hearts.
