Alan Klein's Obituary
Alan Klein, aged 79, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2019. He was born January 26, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Rose and Leonard Klein. He later moved to South Florida in 1998, where he spent the remainder of his life soaking in the sun.
He worked as a music producer, having hit records in the United States and abroad. The culmination of this career was one of his records ending up in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He later went on to have success as a steel broker, but his passion for music never faded and you could often still find him producing music in the studio.
He loved tennis, food, theater, music, and most of all, his family. He fought a long, hard battle with Parkinson's disease for 29 years, and despite this diagnosis, he lived a vibrant, productive life for the majority of them. The birth of his grandson, Kaleb, brought him much joy and purpose in his final years. He is a cherished father of Shawn (Lucy) and Lisa (Jon), caring grandfather of Kaleb, loving brother of Martin (Karen), and loving Uncle of Kyle, Dora, Marsha, and Deborah.
