Alice would meet regularly with her lady friends (from Publix). She'd welcome them joyously into her home and into her heart. If you were in Alice's heart, you always felt 'welcomed' not tolerated. Her feelings and actions were genuine - like it or not.
Linda, you'll always feel the void for your Momma & Dad - no one, nothing - takes their place. So cry, my dear friend, cry; as loud as you want and as long as you want. . .But know that it's for you (and your loved ones) that you cry. We mourn for ourselves. It's our loss - not hers. Alice is fine - she's far, far beyond 'fine'. She's dancing with your Dad, she's beside your cousin helping her make lasagna, she's in your daughters' hearts bringing them closer to you, she's in your head encouraging you to enjoy your precious life. Know without any doubt that she's not 'somewhere else' - She's all over - she's anywhere she wants to be. When ever you need her, Linda, feel her presence. It's very real - as real as her love for you. . .
Love,
Fran Antonelli
