Allan L. Yoder's Obituary
Allan “Al” Lloyd Yoder, (89) passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, December 29th, 2017. He was a veteran serving in the US Navy from 1946-1949 and had a lifetime career as a merchant sea captain. Al was a man of very few words but lived a life defined by integrity, honor and respect. He was a devoted and faithful Christian, and was an active member of Griffin Road and Hialeah Church of Christ. He was born on September 16, 1928 in Beloit, Ohio to the late Sidney and Garnet Yoder.
Al was predeceased by his lovey wife of 61 years, Della Diana Yoder. He has three living children, Patricia Yoder, Robert Yoder and Jennifer (Christopher) Augustin. He is survived by three siblings, Wilma (the late Earl) Williams, Dale (Nel) Yoder and Ruth (Tom) Charles. He was predeceased by his brother Don (Ada Mae) Yoder. He was predeceased by his daughter Jean Hall. He has four living grandchildren, Brittany, Charles, Kristen and Jade. He is predeceased by his grandchildren Max and Nicole. He has one great-grandson Colden Lloyd.
Al was loved by many and will be forever missed.

Funeral services will be held on January 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Griffin Road Church of Christ. 14550 Griffin Road, Davie, Florida with a reception to follow. Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Lauderdale Memorial Park, 2001 SW 4th Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
