I am so saddened to know Amy, always ready with a laugh and a quip, is no longer here with us. She and I shared so many laughs and she always filled me in on the latest goings- on at MCDS and at Temple Israel. She loved being around the kids and they loved her. Especially in the jazz band. I loved her stories. May her memory be for a blessing. Karen Davis
I had the pleasure to work with Amy at Miami Country Day School. She was a spitfire full of life love and energy. We had a mutual love for books and would talk about the latest bestsellers. She will truly be missed. Praying for peace and strength for her family at this time.
My relationship with Amy was Division Director/Substitute Teacher. However Amy was much more than a substitute teacher. She was a fixture at MCDS. Amy didn't just sit there and play with her phone, as is the case sometimes with subs. She worked with and cared about the kids, and even reported back to me when she saw a behavior that needed attention. She loved Middle School, which I know is hard to imagine for many. Amy was always there when we called and sometimes would rearrange her schedule to work when needed. I especially enjoyed our talks about life prior to the start of the day since she would always come in early and I was at work early as well. Amy was a gift to MCDS and to the kids. She will be missed. My condolences go out to her family.

Amy, obm, was mom to one of my oldest & closest childhood friends. So I was in touch/ saw Amy throughout 53 years. 1 Special Memory was when Amy went with me , clothes shopping in Surfside, to help me choose an appropriate outfit for my sister’s wedding. Amy was Always Nice & Caring to Me. G-d bless her soul & comfort her family. 🙏😔
