Ana Zelonker's Obituary
ZELONKERAna (Falkson) Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at home, on Sunday April 1, 2012. Our dearest Ana left this world to join her husband of 65 years, Loime, who left us just a short time ago. Ana is survived by her children, Louie and Bell Stabinski, Bruce and Silvia Kusens, and David and Irene Dardashti. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Ana was born in Russia in 1926. Her family immigrated to Cuba in 1928 where she was raised, met and married her husband Solomon Zelonker, and had her three daughters. She and her family left Cuba for the United States in 1960 and started their lives over. Ana was a strong willed and hard working woman. Not only was she the Matriarch of the family, but she also worked side by side with her husband in their business and made it a great success. Ana was a fireball and was loved and cherished because of it. Ana also served as President of the Centro Israelita of Cubas PTA and was a member of The Flamingo Chapter Cancer League. To say that Ana will be missed would be a major understatement. Her passing will leave a hole in our hearts forever, but she will live on through the family she created and left behind.
