Anita D. Resnick's Obituary
RESNICK, Anita Doris Alter, passed away March 20, 2016, the first day of spring. WHAT A LIFE! 95 1/2 years of love for her family, devotion to her friends and community. Anita was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Miami Beach for her high school years. That’s when the fun began. She married Jerry, the love of her life, had children Barbara Resnick Zohlman and Barry Resnick (wife Shari). She gained a second son, Steve Zohlman when he and Barbara met at Beach High. Anita was a liberated women before the term existed. She ran at 150 miles per hour. Not exercising, no, no, she was on every Temple Emanu-El and school PTA committee and Miami Beach political campaign. Anita was a leader. She worked at Barnett Bank and even had many side businesses with her best friend Goldie, like catering, even though Anita could not cook. PMA was her mantra, Positive Mental Attitude. She passed this on to her grandchildren Amy (husband Larry Bergman), Lee Zohlman (wife Daniela), Carly (husband Eric Olson) and Jessie Resnick. Her great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Kyra, Kaia Blu, Alexandra and Austin will miss their GG. Anita liked to gamble, she bet on the horses, blackjack, bingo and life. Anita WON. We love you mom and remember this too shall pass. Graveside Service 2:30 pm, Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th St., Doral.
