Anne S. Paul's Obituary
PAUL, Anne S. passed away May 15, 2015. She was born in Brooklyn New York. She inherited special musical talents from her father Reverend Joseph Schlapin who was from the tribe of Levi. With the voice of an angel, she sang in the choir at Temple Ner Talmid and as a self-taught musician, entertained family and friends with her piano and voice. An Eishes Chayil “woman of valor” she was the first President of Ohev Shalom Sisterhood and also a lifetime member of Hadassah and Amit. Anne relocated to Miami Beach with her husband, Leo and resided in Surfside since 1960. She was an active member of Magen David Congregation, the first Synagogue in Surfside and supported the Jewish Community. She loved Florida and worked as a teacher, gave to several charities and faithfully provided companionship to her elderly friends who were alone, while lovingly raising her 4 children. Anne Paul was well loved by anyone who met her because she was kind, and loving with a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She loved life, never complained, always the eternal optimist, she was grateful for everything. Anne was a religious and spiritual woman who once said “anything over 80 is a blessing”. Her family and those who knew her were blessed by her presence. She is survived by her loving, faithful husband Leo J. Paul of 63 years, her children, Ira (Nitaya) Paul, Ettie (Mark) Langer, Tina Paul and partner Arhlene Ayalin, David Paul, grandchildren Sergey and Peter Langer, and loving sister Regina (Phil) Stone, and many nieces, nephews. Chapel Service 12:45 pm Sunday, May 17th at Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 720-71st Street, Miami Beach, (305) 538-6371
