Annette G. Gordon's Obituary
Annette G. Gordon passed away peacefully on October 7, 2014 in Miami at
Douglas Gardens. Born in Richmond, VA on 2.1.12 to Louis and Kate Gordon,
married Ellis Gordon of Baltimore, MD on 12.25.32, beloved husband of 48
years who predeceased her in 1980. A Coast Guard wife for 30 years, Annette
lived in many different places, raised 3 children, lived near family. A Red Cross
volunteer, Life member of Hadassah and Eastern Star, self-taught couturier,
walker and wise investor. Survived by adoring children: Howard (Rosalie) Gordon,
Ellen (Marvin) Schwartz & Roberta Gordon; 6 grandchildren: Karen & Jim (Ellen) Gordon,
Pam (Erik Wolfers) Schwartz, Joe Schwartz, David (Laura) Schwartz & Eric (Steffi) Schwartz;
7 great-grandchildren, and brother Gerald (Ruth) Gordon and family of VA. Special
thanks to caregivers Marie Jerome & Hytlee Hippolite. Chapel service and interment at
Beth David Memorial Gardens in Hollywood on Friday October 10 at Noon. Family will
receive visitors immediately following at the Gordon home in Weston. A celebration of her
life will also be held at MJHS. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Jewish
