I remember when I was younger, I was in Florida visiting her and other family. I was a tween and having a meltdown. I was freaking out because my hair was ugly and I was a mess. I didn't want to look disgusting in front of family I hadn't seen in a year. I refused to come out of the bathroom. I was crying, but made sure I was quiet enough so no one would hear. My mom and dad were running late and didn't want to deal with me. My nanny said, "I will go." She knocks and says, "Hey it's Nanny can I come in." She comes in and sees me a mess. I told her what was happening. She responded, "Are you telling me my granddaughter is ugly?" She then left. She came back with some hair product and fixed me. Nanny held my hand during the easy and hard times. Thank you for dealing with me. I know you are listening to me right now and reading my thoughts as I write this. You will always be with me, I love you!
