Arnold A. Adams' Obituary
Adams, Arnold A., 79, of Miami Beach, passed away May 30th. Beloved father of Max A. Adams of Miami, Florida and Michelle Lynn Adams of New York, New York; adored grandfather of Aiden, Jake and Ava Adams; dear brother of Pauline Waulker. Arnold is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Business, a Korean War veteran, Purple Heart recipient, former purchasing agent for General Anastasio Somoza, President of Nicaragua and purchasing agent for the Costa Rican government. He was involved in supplying equipment for one of the first hospital projects in St Martin, Haiti and Puerto Rico. After graduation from the University of Miami School of Business, he won a international award in the field of prefabricated housing that was featured in Time magazine. After his retirement, he spent the last 17 years working with his son Max, helping him to develop his law and financial practice. The best way for people to remember him would be as one of the world's greatest story tellers, a smile on his face, a gift of perfume for the ladies, smoking a cigar and having coffee or drinks with his friends. He lived a rich full life and we should all be so lucky to have as many experiences in one lifetime. Chapel services on Tuesday, June 3rd at 9:30 AM at:
