Dr. Arnold Paul Carter's Obituary
Arnold P. Carter of Bal Harbour Florida, passed away peacefully March 22, 2023 at the age of 86. Dr. Carter was born Arnold Cohen on August 1, 1936, in Brooklyn, New York, to Morris Cohen & Clare (Kushner) Cohen. Arnold graduated from the University of Miami and he went to medical school at the University of Louvain in Brussels. Dr. Carter has practiced psychiatry for over 45 years in Miami Beach and Aventura. He worked with research & development out of Basal Switzerland and Boise, Idaho, on brain stimulations and with, EEG, and evoke potentials. Arnold was always larger than life. He loved classical music and playing his piano, truly loved to dance. He enjoyed his football and loved boating and spending time with his family. Arnold is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Gilbert of 43 years, and he was adored by his only son, Craig Aaron is proceeded in death with his parents Morris Cohen Carter & Clair Cohen Carter. Grandparents Aaron and Lena Kushner and his aunt Betty Kushner. The family requests donations in memory of Dr. Arnold P. Carter to Heart Disease and Pancreatic Cancer. Graveside Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th Street, Doral, Florida Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg Rubin Zilbert
