Arthur Wohlgemuth's Obituary
WOHLGEMUTH
Arthur 80, died Tuesday, June 25, 2013. A 1951 graduate of Miami Beach High School, he maintained lifelong friendships. (MU SIG!) He earned a B.E.D., M.E.D., & his E.E.D. In the interim he met & married his wife, Naomi of 56 yrs. Teaching was his passion & he continued to teach at MDC for over 45 yrs. Additional passions were visiting his Israeli & French families & traveling with & to them. Art was an active athlete. He excelled in swimming, tennis & pretending to ski. He often spoke of having played a match against Bobby Riggs and Art lost. Art is survived by Naomi, son Michael, daughter Gayle, and six grandchildren, Megal, Noga, Rivka, Herve, Aviv and Neila. Arts body has been donated to the U of M Medical Research & Bascom Palmer. Services will be held Sunday, June 30th at 11 a.m. at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 18840 W. Dixie Hwy, N. Miami Beach, FL 33180.
