Aurora Fernandez's Obituary
Fernandez, Aurora aged 76 died peacefully on April 21, 2016 at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Aurora was born November 19, 1939 in Oriente, Cuba, the daughter of Andres Cruz Rivera and Francisca Arias. Aurora loved to listen to music and she loved to dance. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. Her family was the most important thing in her life. Aurora is survived by her brother Armando Cruz; sisters Julia Cancio and Alicia Carro; son Luis Fernandez of Beachwood, NJ; daughter Alicia Lafuente of Union, NJ; daughter-in-law Annette Fernandez; son-in-law Oscar Lafuente, Jr.; grandson Manuel Rodriguez; granddaughters Jiliana Medina, Amanda Fernandez and Yarelis Lafuente; three great-grandchildren; three nieces and eight nephews; and a number of other relatives and close friends.
