Barbara B. Gellman's Obituary
Barbara Gellman of Hollywood, Florida passed away on March 25, 2023 at the age of 88. She is survived by her loving brother, Jerry Weiner, beloved children Marcie Siegel (Alan) and Bradley Gellman (Maibel), and adoring grandchildren Holden, Addison, Brea and Blake.
She was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Herbert.
Barbara was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa with her little brother Jerry, by her parents Ethel and Joe, Her lifelong interest in music and song led her to her degree in music. She married the love of her life, Herbert Gellman in 1961 and never looked back as they were transferred around the midwest, finally landing in Hollywood in 1979.
Barbara loved singing and playing the piano and attended shows and musicals as a season ticket holder at the Broward Center of the Performing Arts for many many years. She loved her children and grandchildren more than anything in the world. She will be remembered as a beautiful soul inside and out by so many friends and relatives who loved her as the kind, sweet and gentle lady that she was.
