Barbara Ann Hill's Obituary
Hill, Barbara Ann, 63 of Orange County, California passed away July 22, 2014. She was born October 31, 1950 in Brooklyn, NY to Eileen and Jack Gorsky. She and her family moved from Brooklyn to North Dade County in the mid-1960s and lived in Norland. She was a graduate of Miami Norland High School in 1968. She attended classes at Miami-Dade College afterward. She devoted her life to being a homemaker and raising her son, Brian. She is survived by son, Brian L. Hill, daughter-in-law Nathalie Hill, grandsons Jacob and Abraham Hill of Sunrise Fla., mother Eileen Gorsky, and sister Robin Gorsky, both of Wilton Manors.
She loved life, nature, reading, and taking relaxing and rejuvenating walks in natural environments as well as music and attending concerts.
Over the past 26 years, she has been a resident of Orange County in southern California and was a cancer survivor. In more recent years, she had been an unfortunate victim of Parkinson's disease and had come back to visit her son Brian and his family in February of 2014. Her declining condition worsened until she had reached the final stage of the disease which ultimately took her life on Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
