Barbara Mary Lazzeri's Obituary
Barb was the loving daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Reese, who predeceased her.
She was a retired cardiovascular technician at Bi-County Hospital in Warren,
Michigan. She will be remembered best as a devoted, supportive and loving wife,
and friend to all she met. No words can describe the emptiness that will be felt in all
the lives that she touched.
She was married for 38 years to James (Jim) Lazzeri, a retired firefighter from
Warren, Michigan. She is survived by her loving husband Jim; three stepsons,
Michael, Jimmy and Craig; brothers-in-law Bill (Gayla); Tom (Betty) and Tony
(Akemi); four nieces and two nephews; and close beloved friends, Kathy and Mike
Worley, who were like the children she never had.
Barb and her husband Jim retired and relocated from Warren, Michigan to Coconut
Creek, Florida in 1995. She loved traveling and accomplished her goal of visiting all
50 states, the lower 48 via her and Jim’s motor home. Her favorite getaway was
anywhere in the Florida Keys, being out on the ocean and capturing photographs of
sunsets. An avid football fan, you would find Barb watching two or sometimes three
games at one time on any given Sunday.
She had a passionate love of animals. Big or small, they all found a special place in
her heart.
