Benjamin Samuel Bierstein's Obituary
Benjamin Samuel Bierstein, age 44, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on August 2, 2018. Born in San Rafael, CA, he lived in Maui until the age of 8 before moving to North Miami Beach, Florida. He graduated from North Miami Beach Senior High in 1992. He was deeply passionate about music, surfing, spirituality, and above all, his family. He was a bright light in the lives of those who knew him. He will be remembered as a kind, compassionate, and gentle soul and will be greatly missed by his community. He will be forever remembered by his mother, Iris Rose, father Lenny Bierstein, brother Malachi Bierstein (Emma Curran), sisters Malika Bierstein, and Chandra (Daniel) Berriel; nieces Kaia, Simone, Elodie, and Talia; and nephew Gabriel.The family suggests donations in memory of Benjamin Bierstein be made to: The Surfrider Foundation, https://www.surfrider.org/support-surfrider; The Butterfly Project, https://thebutterflyprojectnow.org/donate; Water.org; https://water.org/donate.
