Bernard Lawrence's Obituary
Bernard Lawrence, 93, of Pembroke Pines passed away April 15, 2018.
Bernie was an extrovert in a family of introverts, with a generous heart and kind-hearted spirit who was devoted to his faith, family and community. He loved to act, sing and tell (bad) jokes, and do good deeds such as reading the mail for blind people. He made friends wherever he went -- it would take 15 minutes or more to leave a restaurant because he loved to talk with people on the way out. He performed with the Pembroke Pines Theater of the Performing Arts, the Kings Chorale and many other groups, and always had time for lifting the spirits of other people. Beloved husband of Doris for 71 years; loving father of Judith Goodstein and Keith (Cheryl) Lawrence; cherished grandfather of Josh (Lindsay) Goodstein, Katherine (Jonathan) Wallace and Eric (Rachel) Lawrence; adored great grandfather of Levi and Noah Goodstein; dear brother in law of Francine Lawrence and Jacqueline Zucker. The family suggests contribution in Bernard's name be made to Mazon
mazon.org or Pembroke Pines Theatre of the Performing Arts pptopa.com or to a charity of your choice.
