Poppy was a great grandfather to me and I love him so very much. I regret not being able to spend more time with him and my nanny. Life gets in the way sometimes and you don't get the chance to do what you want. I will miss him so very much.
I will always remember my poppy as the vibrant, full of life person I grew up with. He was an amazing grandfather who had an imagination that matched mine. I’ll never forget how he used to make up wild stories or scenarios to tell me about out of no where, and how he loved to play tricks on us like when he’d take his teeth out. Poppy was always so full of love too. He just wanted everyone to be happy and healthy. I’ll always love you Poppy. I hope you’re at peace.
He was the best father-in-law anyone could have asked for. He always treated me like his daughter, instead of just a daughter-in-law.
And always treated my first daughter, Melissa, like his own granddaughter. So she was his first grandchild. He was such warm hearted person. I was very proud to call him Dad. I will miss him deeply.
