Bernice Bogen's Obituary
Bernice Bogen, a long-time resident of the Deerfield Beach area, passed away Wednesday the 16th of August 2017.
Born on April 2nd, 1928 in New York, daughter of Max and Ida Bogen, sister of Helen Katz.
Bernice was a long time Human Resources employee of Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, later becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse of Oncology at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL.
Bernice enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. She will be remembered as a loving mother and doting grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her two children, Irvin & (Betty) Laskoe and Madeline Reed; Cherished Grandmother of Valerie & (Paul) Laskoe Burke, Jim Reed, David & (Mo) Reed, and Steven & (Jana Mitchell) Reed. Adored Great-Grandmother of Charles Edward Burke and Nathan Briggs Burke.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 20th at 11:00am at the Hebrew Oakwood Cemetery in Richmond, VA. Arrangements by Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel. 305-932-2700
