Bertrand A. "Bert" Leider's Obituary
Leider, Bertrand (Bert), 84, Blessed husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on June 17, 2016. Bert served in the Navy during the Korean War and remained in the Naval Reserve for 30 additional years. Bert worked over forty as a Radiographic Technician at Jackson Memorial and Hialeah Hospitals. He was always extremely dependable, kind, caring and thoughtful.
Bert is survived by his wife, Arlene, of 58 years, his daughter Cindy and her husband Gary Rich, his son, Mark, and his grandchildren Jessica and her husband Guillaume Turcottte and granddaughter Allison Rich. Cindy is a teacher of medically handicapped children, Mark is a lawyer representing children who are subject of child protective and custody proceedings in New York City. His granddaughter Jessica is a pediatric occupational therapist in Portland. OR. His granddaughter Allison works in the field of environmental conservation in Baltimore, Maryland. We are extremely grateful to Joe Head who lovingly cared for Bert for many years with Parkinson's Disease and subsequently a stroke.
