Bette Amdur Snetman's Obituary
SNETMAN, BETTE AMDUR, 91, of Miami Beach, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 16, 1925 to Ellis Amdur and Belle Luxemburg. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Fleischer Snetman. Bette is survived by her brother Herbert Amdur (Barbara), her children, Lawrence Snetman (Liliana) and Laura McDowell (Carter). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Adam (Sarah) and David Snetman, Cameron (Jennifer), Eden (Derek), and Logan (Andre) McDowell, and her great grandchildren Jaime and Lola Snetman, and Finn and Rhett McDowell. Bette was a fascinating woman clever, funny, and creative. She was an interior designer who enjoyed knocking down walls. She loved painting, sculpture, her many dogs, driving convertibles, playing golf, traveling, and sitting at outdoor cafes people watching. She will be missed greatly. In lieu of flowers, please consider planting a shade or flowering tree in Bette's honor. (Please no palm trees.)
