Betty Jean Kushner's Obituary
KUSHNER
Betty Jean (Nore) Kushner, 82, of Hollywood Florida passed away peacefully at home on March 25th, 2015.
Betty was born on Sept 11, 1932 to Miriam and Mickey Nore in Worcester MA where she grew up. She graduated from Classical High School and went on to attend Smith College where she received a degree in liberal arts. In 1955 she married the love of her life, David Kushner and two years later gave birth to twin sons, Michael and William. In 1959 they moved to Hollywood, Florida to raise their young family and soon afterwards son Jon and daughter Rachel were born. In addition to being a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, Betty enjoyed many friendships throughout her life and was loved and admired by those close to her. Besides spending time with family and friends her passions included being an avid reader, her bridge games, and her adventure for travel. Many of her most memorable times were spent with family and friends at her summer home on Cape Cod.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her three sons Michael (PA), William (Stefanie), Jon (Ellen), daughter Rachel van de Rydt (PJ), sister Nancy and brother in-law David Sadick, seven grand children Evan, Hannah, Coralie, Grace, Abbie, Matthew, Samuel, sister in-law Michelle Berry, and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband David, parents Miriam Palais and Mickey Nore, and beloved grandson Logan.
