I was saddened to read of Buton's passing but know that he led a full life. Peace to David and Franci at this difficult time. G-d counts your tears.
I will forever treasure the fact that our lives crossed paths. Burton Young hired me at 17 years old, fresh out of high school, to be his assistant secretary. His professionalism and expectation for perfection caused me to strive for excellence in everything I did. Working with him literally shaped the course of my professional life.
His sense of humor was the best. One of his favorites:
Burton: “You have snu on your face”.
Me: Wiping face frantically asking “What’s snu?”
Burton: “Not much, what’s new with you?”
Then he’d laugh and laugh, just loving the fact that he got you!
He truly was an incredible man and I’m so grateful to have known him. May he rest in peace.
