Carole Ann Bernard Becker's Obituary
BERNARD BECKER, Carole Ann Susel, 78, of Miami Beach and the Towers of Quayside, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2016 in her home, after a valiant fight with lung cancer.
She was born in Baltimore in January 1938 to Benjamin "Eddie" and Rae Susel and moved to Miami Beach in the 1940's where she attended Beach High (Class of 1955) and married the love of her life Harry Bernard, who passed away in 1981.
After many years of being a transcriber at Sylvia Fierman Court Reporting, she studied and became a Court Reporter herself in 1978, eventually co-founding Personal Touch Reporting Service in 1988 prior to retiring in 2011.
Carole met and married the second love of her life Sheldon "Shel" Becker, who passed away in 2009. She had many dear friends, she traveled, was involved in many social groups, adult education, classes and more. Carole (named for Carole Lombard) had a beautiful outlook on life.
Carole is survived by her son Randy and his wife Karen (Davis) and their daughter Katie, her son Steve and his wife Alice (Catena) and their children Amy and Jake, and Shel Becker's daughter Lisa and her children Austin and Brandon.
