Cheryl Donna Hochberg's Obituary
Cheryl Hochberg, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, passed away on March 5, 2026, surrounded by family and friends.
Cheryl was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 21, 1953, and grew up in Bellmore, New York. She graduated from the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University Law School. Cheryl practiced real estate law for many years and dedicated much of her life to her family and to philanthropic causes. Known for her warmth, strength, and devotion, she was truly the heart of her family.
Cheryl’s greatest joy was traveling and spending time with her family.
Cheryl is survived by her loving husband, Neal Hochberg; her children, Jessica Hochberg and Josh & Jaclyn Hochberg; her granddaughters, Zoe and Bryn Hochberg; her mother, Marilyn Burbank; and her siblings, Lisa, Robby, Lori, and Mark.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 6 at 2:00 PM at Levitt- Weinstein Beth David Memorial Chapel in Hollywood, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cheryl’s memory to the Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center, the David Posnack JCC, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
