Deborah Warren's Obituary
Deborah Warren (90) of North Miami, Florida passed away on February 6, 2018 after a battle with cancer. At the time of her passing, she was at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Debby moved from Valley Stream, New York to North Miami, Florida in 1956 with her husband, James Henry Warren (Harry) and their two daughters, Joanne and Robin. Debby lived a very active, full life. She became a very successful travel agent and business owner (Debby's Travel of Hallandale). She loved to travel; she saw the world with her beloved husband Harry and her trusted travel buddies. She was also very involved in the community. She was a committed member of the of the Ives Estates Civic Association and regularly volunteered as a poll worker. Her last 15 years were spent as a devoted member of the Hollywood YMCA. She spent countless hours with friends and serving others.
Debby was a proud mother of two daughters Joanne Warren Harrison, Robin Britton and her son-in-law Mike. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, Ryan Britton and his wife Vicki, and Heather Chaney and her husband Kevin. Her great-grandchildren Shepherd, Jackson and Olivia Britton all loved their Grammy very much. Her loving nephews and nieces also survive her. She was a loyal and devoted friend; all will genuinely miss her.
Debby's family would like to give thanks to some very special people who helped her family through this difficult time: Gerry and Mary Ann Stone, John Batson, Sue and Sol Gordon, Fred O'Donnell, and Debby's many YMCA friends. We will be forever indebted to her outstanding and devoted care takers: Monique, Jean, Janice, and Andrea. They were truly her angels and ours. The funeral will take place on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10AM at Levitt-Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL 33024.
