Delena R., 94, of Tamarac, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 24th, 2013. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was there that she met the late Salvator Certo, MD, and moved to the Miami, Florida area to raise a family and enjoy a loving marriage of over 50 years. In addition to raising two children, Delena worked with Salvatore consulting with new mothers whose babies he delivered. Delena is survived by her son, Francis A. Certo of Weston, Florida; daughter, Salle Certo of Seattle, Washington; and their spouses, Lori and Kelley, respectively; two grandchildren, Shoshana Auspitz of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Noah Auspitz of Las Vegas, Nevada. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in our mother’s honor to Healing Hands of Hope Columbia Project, 304 Indian Trace, Suite 636, Weston, Florida, 33326. A Memorial Service will be held at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, on Friday, March 29th, 2013 at 10:00 AM under the direction of Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert (305) 538-6371
