Dennis C. Dubin's Obituary
Dennis C. Dubin of Hollywood, Florida passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 78. He was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Maplewood and Livingston before moving to Florida in 1979 with his wife Lori. Dennis was a clinical Audiologist for his entire career. He and Lori opened an Audiology and hearing aid center in Pembroke Pines in 1989. Dennis went on to earn his Au.D doctorate in Audiology and continued helping patients hear better until his retirement in 2012.
Dr. Dubin enjoyed family life with his children, grandchildren and many pets. He and Lori raised their family in Cooper City before moving to Hollywood. 'Denny' had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed traveling and fishing. After a long battle with Parkinson's Disease, he is finally resting peacefully. He will be missed by all who knew him. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Lori Dinnerman Dubin, his son Jonathan Dubin, daughter Rachel Dubin Smith, son-in-law Noble Smith, granddaughters Alyssa and Riley, and mother-in-law Barbara Dinnerman, as well as a niece, nephew, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Barney Dubin and sister, Marjorie Katz.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 3rd at 12 noon at Levitt-Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Gardens, 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024. Contributions in Dennis's memory can be made to either the Parkinson's Foundation, https://www.parkinson.org/ or any Jewish Charity.
