There is so much I could say about Don, but there is not enough space. I had the pleasure of meeting Don and his wonderful family through his sister Gail “Gitel “ who was and is a close college friend from 1973. I had the pleasure of being invited to the various Rosenthal/Appelrouth milestones. I always enjoyed being around Donnie. He was one of a kind. He was funny and generous. Donnie meant so much to all our family. On his visits to rmic’s home office in North Carolina, Donnie would always spend a night
With us. Our girls loved him for all the same reasons everyone else loved him. The twins could not pronounce Rosenthal so they called him Donnie Arkansas! They couldn’t wait for uncle Donnie Rosenthal to visit ! Love you man . Brent and Cindy

As a friend of Donnie’s for over 40 years, the abundance of memories will be with me for the rest of my life. However, one of my funniest moments with Donnie involved a hot dog. We both ordered a hot dog for lunch before we headed out for a round of golf. I squeezed the mustard onto the top of the hot dog and spun it around so the mustard was on the bottom. Donnie looked at me in amazement as if I had invented electricity as he told me that it would have never occurred to him to spin the hot dog. We both started laughing uncontrollably and I only hope that, each time going forward, when he had a hot dog, he followed my lead. I love you Donnie and will miss you more than words could ever express. RIP 🙏🙏🙏. Greg Gentille

Donny was the “energy “ that lit up the room his energy and his spirit was amazing 😻!!!
