Donald Dale Ramsey's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Donald Dale Ramsey
It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved brother, Donald Dale Ramsey, who left this world too young and too soon.
Dale to his family, Donald to most of his friends, was known and loved for his kind heart, generosity, and infectious laughter. He loved to sing, and even in early childhood would stand in the grocery store or the aisle of a public bus and regale everyone around him with a song. This led to a lifelong love of drama and musicals, whether live or in film. He worked for 22 years in Burdines/Macy’s advertising department and kept in touch with many of his former coworkers. He had a penchant for hunting down people he knew decades ago and reestablishing friendships.
Dale converted to the Catholic faith almost 30 years ago and was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He had a heart of gold and constantly remembered everyone in his prayers, whether friends, family or strangers. Later in life he was devoted to caring for his elderly parents until both had passed.
He leaves behind beautiful memories of love, compassion, and strength. Always there for me, his little sister, his passing leaves a great chasm which can’t be filled. He will be sorely missed by a large number of cousins and friends but is now in the company of his mom and dad whom he so loved.
A mass will be held for Dale at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2200 NE 191st Street, Miami, Florida 33179.
Family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched are invited to join in honoring his memory.
Rest in peace my big brother, my “Bubby”. I love you so much and I will miss you every day until I see you again.
