Dora Koyfman's Obituary
Dora Koyfman passed away in her home in Hollywood, FL on August 2 at 8:42am at the age of 78.
Dora is survived by her loving husband Vilya Koyfman of 46 years. They were married in Chisinau, Moldova in 1976.
Dora is lovingly remembered by her son Dr. Marat Michael Koyfman of Winter Park, daughter in law Sarah Koyfman and her grandchildren Mallory and Benjamin.
Dora was born in the former Soviet Union when her family fled their hometown of Chisinau to the Ural Mountains during the latter part of WWII on June 12, 1944. She graduated from high school in 1961 from Chisinau high school and went on to earn a degree in Russian language and literature from Chisinau University. In the Soviet Union she worked as a literature teacher and in the United States she worked as a bookkeeper.
Dora enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She loved spending time on the beach, long walks, yoga and was an avid reader and also a wonderful cook.
The memorial service will be held at Beth David Memorial Gardens on Thursday Aug 4 at 9-11am.
