Growing up, Aunt Lala was always my favorite aunt. She was fun, spunky and so inspiring. She made me feel important and special. Maybe when I was about 8 years old she took me shopping for my birthday and let me pick out my present. I picked out a curious George stuffed animal and I still have it today because it is a memento from her. She was the cool aunt. She visited us in AZ and we had a blast going for hikes and other adventures. I loved her very much.
