GROSSMANEdith (nee Wallach), 95 of Miami, formerly of Chicago. Beloved wife of the late Howard. Loving mother of Bunny (Ron) Lieberman. Proud grandmother of Jill (Greg) Paiewonsky and Brian (Carrie) Lieberman. Adored great grandmother of Briana and Tyler Paiewonsky and Warren, Karic and Caroline Lieberman. Caring sister of Sidney (the late Barbara) Wallach, Lillian (Jack) Sklar and the late Ben (Gloria) Wallach, the late Sam (Phyllis) Wallach, the late John (the late Gladys) Wallach and the late Barbara (the late Will) Heller. Cherished daughter of the late Hyman and the late Fanny Wallach. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, their families and friends. Mrs. Grossman attended College of the city of New York and the Univ. of Miami. She volunteered at a nursing home for the aged, Girl Scout leader and a volunteer civil defense worker and a volunteer in the school system. She was also an avid poker player, a devoted democrat and sponsored a child from an impoverished country. Services and interment were held in Chicago, IL on September 4, 2012.
