Edward Lefoster Godfrey, 87, of Roatan, Honduras , passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at 1:56 a.m. at Jackson Plaza Nursing Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Roatan, Honduras to Vera and Clarence Godfrey, He lived most of his life in Miami, Florida. Edward was a passionate man who enjoyed boats. He worked as a Merchant Marine in the United States. In his spare time, he enjoyed television, especially watching Western movies, talking about old times, playing with his grand-kids and sailing. Edward was extremely loving. He was the oldest of all his brothers and sisters. Edward is survived by his wife Dorlen Elvira Godfrey, daughters Valerie Ann Godfrey - Victor & Vera Dorlen Godfrey Dilbert, step-children Watson Donald Cacho Dilbert, Sinthia Clear Godfrey Dilbert, Eddie David Godfrey Dilbert & Alma Collins, grandchildren Anhaiya Taylor, Ovaldes Victor, Anverson Victor, Henriette Victor, Jonathan Jr Everett, Jaden Everett, Edward Godfrey and extended family. Edward was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
A Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 14th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm at Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 720 71st Street, Miami Beach (305) 865-2353
