Edward YELON, Age 86 of Adventura,formerly of Brooklyn and Great Neck New York
Passed away peacefully after a long bout with pancreatic cancer
Beloved husband of Arlene for 62 years, loving father of Susan, Jodie and Jay and proud grandfather of Michael,Perrin,Myles,Gayle,Alex and Molly, brother of Stephen and Fran.
He was a certified public accountant for his firm of Greenspan and YELON
In New York. He was a leader in the community. He was a member and supporter of the Boy Scouts of America for over 75 years,as well S N Eagle Scout. He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. Ed was president of Temple Sholom of Flatbush in Brooklyn. He was a strong supporter of Israel Boystown of Jerusalem. He loved his family, Shabbat services, his seat at the pool, and dinner and drinking a scotch with friends. He was a kind and virtuous man who will be missed by all.
