Edwin Gerald Gordon's Obituary
Gordon, Edwin Gerald, age 89, passed away on July 27, 2018. He is survived by his three daughters; Jean Gordon of Hollywood, Carol Menscher of Plantation, Karen Gordon Barton of Hollywood, and their spouses Toby Halbert ,Barry Menscher, Champe Barton and his sweetheart of fifteen years Kay Silver. Beloved husband of fifty years to the late Laurayne. Seven grandchildren; Joel, Tracy (Tolk) and Brett Nagelbush, Champe Taylor and Parker Barton, Jody (Hahn) and Joel Menscher. Six great, grandchildren; Justin, Jadon, Sebastian and Adon Nagelbush. Blake and Jason. He taught those around him the importance of family, community and, perhaps most valuable, the benefits of a really good belly laugh. Known to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as “pop-pop”, he shared old stories and laughs until the end. He was a lover of the game of golf, workouts at the JCC, western movies and dining out. He was known to have mentored many in the Hollywood community on matters related to faith, family and business. Donations can be sent to the David Posnack Jewish Community Center, 5850 Pine Island Road, Davie Florida. Services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 @ 10 AM at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72 Avenue Hollywood, Fla. 954-963-2400.
