Delray Beach, FL: Eleanor Greenberg has passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 27th. Her pride has been her family. She is beloved by her surviving three children Michael, Geoffrey, and Grace. Her oldest son, Alan, who passed away at an early age, had two sons, Eric and Marc, with two children each. Michael has four children: Ted, Emily, Ned, and Jay. She enjoyed her eight great-grandchildren Joshua, Hayli, Jackson, Charlie, Landon, Davis, Cameron, and Mallory and daughters-in-law Lucy, Lucy, Roberta, Carmel, Sharon, and Michelle.
Mrs. Eleanor Greenberg was wedded for nearly 69 years to Jack. They had resided in Brooklyn, Hartsdale, and Fishkill, New York, before settling to Boca Raton in the mid-80s, and then to Boynton Beach, Florida. She very much enjoyed her career family and activities at IPG in New York. Her last ten years have been at Abbey Delray North in Delray Beach. Eleanor enjoyed her retirement years as a docent at the Boca Raton Museum of Art and before that, with Brandeis in Westchester, NY and in Boca Raton.
As a resident of Abbey Delray North since July 2005, she leaves behind wonderful friends who have admired her warmth and gracious demeanor. She took pride in who she was and gave a friendly smile and acknowledged everyone she met. Eleanor Greenberg will be remembered fondly because of her pleasing personality and positive outlook and beautiful way about her.
