Ellen (Gerstenblatt) Lubin's Obituary
Ellen (Gerstenblatt) Lubin, 86, of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away on June 24, 2025 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Born on January 10, 1939, in Providence, Rhode Island, Ellen was the daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Levine) Gerstenblatt. She graduated from Hope High School and later worked as a banker in Rhode Island and retired as an office assistant in a dermatologist office in Pembroke Pines, Florida.
Ellen was a devoted Mom, to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Neil and Stacy, grandchildren, Amanda Asherman (Mike), Ryon Vazquez (Dr. Norberto Camacho) and Nina Vazquez, her great-grandchildren, Addie, Karlie & Josie Asherman, Celeste Camacho-Vazquez, brothers Eddie (Pat) Gerstenblatt & Marshall (Bobbi) Gerstenblatt, Nieces and Nephews - Jenn and Christopher Gerstenblatt, Andrea and Lori Gerstenblatt, and Jonathan & Leah Gerstenblatt.
Ellen will be remembered for her kind heart, her unconditional love for her family & her friends – some called the yaya sisterhood. She had a passion for bowling, reading, playing mahjong on Monday nights, good food, and has passed these passions down to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Levitt Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Chapel, 3201 North 72nd Avenue, Hollywood Florida 33024. If desired, donations may be made in the memory of Ellen Lubin to Treasure Coast Hospice-The Lynch Pavilion Inpatient Center. Please join us immediately following the memorial service to celebrate the life of Ellen at DiSalvo’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant, 4190 North 46th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33021.
