Elsa Wendman's Obituary
Elsa Wendman, 84 of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 with her family by her side after a long debilitating illness. Beloved wife of the late Morton Wendman, loving mother of Murray (Karen) Wendman & Susan Carvalho, dear sister of Frances (Nelson) Yagod & Michael (Laya) Abramowitz, cherished grandmother of Nicole, Rebecca, Michelle & Joseph. Predeceased by her parents Louis & Rose Abramowitz. Elsa grew up in Ottawa, Canada and moved to Montreal to study Nursing at the Jewish General Hospital. She was very highly thought of in her chosen field of nursing as well as volunteering for many community organization & charities. The family requests donations in memory of Elsa Wendman to Season's Hospice Foundation, https://www.seasonsfoundation.org. A Chapel Service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Levitt-Weinstein Beth David Memorial Chapel, 3201 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33024 (954) 963-2400.
