Eugene Milgram's Obituary
Eugene Milgram – builder, businessman, world traveler and philanthropist – died Sunday in his Boca Raton home surrounded by his family. He was 87.
He was born May 27, 1927 in the Bronx to Max and Freda Milgram. In 1949, he married the love of his life Charlotte Goldberg. They were married 65 years.
In addition to a number of successful businesses, including The Palace in Liberty City and Wash & Dry in Miami, Eugene was a passionate philanthropist, serving on the Executive Board of the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation, and a founder for New World School of the Arts, Mount Sinai Hospital and Jewish Home for the Aged (Alzheimer’s Care), as well as an avid contributor to the Miami City Ballet and Project Newborn.
Eugene is survived by his wife Charlotte, his children: Michelle Robinson (Wayne Lippman) and Scott Milgram (Judy Milgram); the memory of his beloved son-in-law Paul Robinson; his granddaughters: Nik Robinson, Gabrielle Promoff (Michael Promoff), Erica Wildstein (Ari Wildstein), Melissa Neuwelt, Maxine Edelsberg (Mark Edelsberg); his great grandchildren: Julia, Emma, Dylan, Sofia, Addie, Ben, Skyler and Ella; and his beloved puppies Genny and Dulci.
