Evelyn Rebecca Kaplan Falke's Obituary
Evelyn (Evie, Mom, Grandma, Bubbie) Rebecca Kaplan Falke passed away at age 92 on 11/18/22 at 2:26 p.m. in Acworth, GA. She was born in Jamaica, New York, and moved to Miami at age fifteen. After 73 years, Evie relocated to Marietta, GA, six years after her husband Stan passed, to spend the rest of her days surrounded by her daughter, son and daughter-in-law, her grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Evie is survived by her son, Les Falke, spouse Donna Falke; daughter, Michelle Falke; granddaughter, Julie Castleberry, and spouse, Ken Castleberry; their children, Evan Falke, Aiden, and Olivia Castleberry; grandson, Dave Falke, and spouse, Kathleen Falke, their children, Ruby, Wolfie, and Julian Falke.
Evie worked as a bookkeeper for years in Miami Beach. Was a Bingo caller for the Papanicolaou Cancer Foundation for many years. She then helped her husband Stan with his accounting businesses, and when Stan started his Jewelry and Display company, she would travel on the road with him from city to city, setting up and selling at trade shows. In between all that, Evie loved to play card games with her many close friends. She was a prolific craftswoman around the needle with knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint. But mostly, she was a caretaker for her family and friends, ensuring everyone was doing well and checking in on them all the time.
