Fay Schapiro's Obituary
Schapiro, Fay (née Barrett)
After a brief illness, on Friday, January 30, 2026, just a few days after her ninetieth birthday. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Norine Wiseberg and Jay Kling, Bonnie Wiseberg and David Segal. Incredible grandmother of Jacqueline; Noah and Julian, Josh, and Daniel; and great-grandmother of Max. Predeceased by her husband Dick (Richard) Schapiro, and by her siblings and their spouses.
Faysha lived a full, exciting life on her own terms and never let anyone tell her otherwise. Stubborn in the best way and always true to herself, she had no patience for nonsense. It was her show, and we were all just grateful guests at the table. Fay will be missed by her family, her many close friends, dancing partners, bartenders, and by all those who knew her.
A private family service to take place in Florida. Shiva strictly private.
