Mort and Faye were my first cousins. During my teen years, I spent summers and weekends with them in Meadville and I was always treated as part of the family. One summer, I helped them get their business put back together after it was inundated during a flood. I will always remember their kindness, love and generosity to me. Recently, I spent FaceTime with Faye and really enjoyed those conversations—I will miss her dearly. Mort and Faye and their kids were my family.
