Where to begin? At 66 years old I can honestly say there's never been a time when Florence was not a cherished part of my life.
She and Herbie were always there with you and for you.
The parties, the trips, the gatherings, the golf outings and always making the children happy and feeling important and cared about.
Once Herbie passed, Florence and I kept in touch. She was always happy, uplifting, funny, sharp and full of love for everyone.
She never missed a chance to brag on her grandkids and, at the same time want to know about my kids and grandkids and how they were doing.
Even during the pandemic and with her being quarantined in her own quarters at the assisted living facility she maintained a true optimism and positive vibe.
She never failed to return a call if I had to leave a message and always expressed her love and appreciation for myself and everyone she cared about.
Hers was a wonderful Life, well lived and fueled by love for and from all she knew.
She was 96 and I knew no one lives forever... Even the best of the best.
But it still hit me like a ton of bricks.
I will miss our calls, her sweet, loving messages and that large part of my life that she has always been.
Florrie... I love you and miss you.
And if you can see this, know that that will never, ever change.
My life was and forever will be better for having had you in it.
I wish you all of the eternal peace and love you so richly deserve...
All my love forever from your cousin, nephew, friend and great admirer.
