Frank T. Desiderio Jr.'s Obituary
Frank T. Desiderio Jr., 73, of Syracuse, New York passed away peacefully at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida on December 29, 2021. Frank was predeceased by his loving wife Anna of 31 years and is survived by his three loving sons Frank III (Jaime), Paul (Alicia), and Andrew and his four grandchildren: Gia (9), Dominic (7), Anthony (6), Hailey (3). He was the brother to Alfonso Desiderio, Theresa Paris (Desiderio) and Joseph Desiderio, all of which are survived by him. Frank was born to Frank Desiderio Sr. and Lisa Lorini on April 20, 1948. Frank was raised in Syracuse, NY and attended Henniger High School. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1967 where he served honorably in Vietnam. Frank worked as a crane operator at Crucible Steel Industries for nearly 20 years. Frank and Anna created a successful mobile food business; Anna’s Sicilian Pizza, that was a main stay at the New York State Fair for forty years. Frank was a charismatic and loving man. Frank was also very forward thinking and innovative throughout his life. The center of all his motivation and energy was based around his family. Frank’s passion and commitment for food and service was the foundation of the family business. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida. There will be no calling hours.
